Organic Young Barley Grass Juice
With 4 times the calcium of milk, 22 times the iron in spinach, and as much protein per ounce as a steak, barley juice is a true super food. Barley grass is loaded with every essential amino acid, over 12 minerals, and 13 different vitamins (including Vitamin K). Barley grass, like all grasses, has thick cell walls. Cows need four stomach compartments to digest these thick cell walls. Humans just have one. Thus, it's best for the barley grass to be juiced before it's turned into powder. This breaks down the cell walls and releases the nutrients for easy absorption. Also a good source of SOD (super oxide dismutase) which is an important antioxidant defense in nearly all cells exposed to oxygen.

Broccoli's noteworthy nutrients include vitamin C, vitamin A (mostly as beta-carotene), folic acid, calcium, and fiber. Broccoli is a fiber find. Not only is it a rich source, but half of its fiber is insoluble and half is soluble, helping to meet your needs for both types of fiber. Health organizations have singled out cruciferous vegetables as must-have foods, recommending we eat them several times a week. Why? They are linked to lower rates of cancer. Like all cruciferous vegetables, broccoli naturally contains two important phytochemicals - indoles and isothiocyanates.
Like other dark greens, spinach is an excellent source of beta-carotene, a powerful disease-fighting antioxidant that's been shown, among other things, to reduce the risk of developing cataracts. As a dark, leafy green, spinach possesses several important phytochemicals, including lutein, which helps prevent age-related macular degeneration. Spinach also contains lipoic acid, which helps antioxidant vitamins C and E regenerate. Because of its role in energy production, lipoic acid is being investigated for regulating blood sugar levels.
For a green, kale is unusually high in fiber. This helps create the bulk you need to fill you up and to keep you full for a good amount of time. Kale is also an excellent source of nutrients, especially vitamin A and calcium. With a combination of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, kale is a dieter's dream food. Though greens in general are nutritious foods, kale stands a head above the rest. Not only is it one of your best sources of beta-carotene, one of the antioxidants believed by many nutrition experts to be a major player in the battle against cancer, heart disease, and certain age-related chronic diseases, it also provides other important nutrients.
From green cabbage you'll enjoy a fiber boost and a respectable amount of vitamin C. Two types of cabbage, savoy and bok choy, provide beta-carotene - an antioxidant that battles cancer and heart disease. The phytochemicals in cabbage, called indoles, are also being studied for their ability to convert estradiol, an estrogen-like hormone that may play a role in the development of breast cancer, into a safer form of estrogen -- powerful incentives to add cabbage to your diet.

They have been shown to have twice the potassium of bananas, four times the vitamin C of oranges, and twice the antioxidants of blueberries. Black currants contain anthocyanins, which are compounds naturally found in berries. They are very potent antioxidants and are responsible for the color of blackcurrants. Around 300 different types of anthocyanins have been discovered.

Lingonberry contains tannins that help to boost the blood vessel walls, resolve mineral metabolism and neutralize toxins, thereby improving digestion and toning up the body. Lingonberries are touted as excellent cure for urinary tract infections. These pearly red, ripe berries are found to contain short-chained proanthocyans that is believed to keep away the infection causing bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall. Because of their rich nutritional value, lingonberries are believed to favor both blood and bone health.
Organic Aronia Berry
High cholesterol can result in clogged arteries, increasing the risks for cardiovascular diseases. Studies using various berries increasing aronia berries indicated an improvement in LDL (bad) cholesterol oxidation. By that token, aronia berries and various types of berries are highly beneficial for heart health. Chronic inflammation is detrimental to health as it causes tissue destruction that can give rise to a number of diseases including asthma, arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Aronia berries have anti-inflammatory properties.
Organic pomegranates are full of antioxidants. These are vitamins and enzymes known for keeping low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or "bad" cholesterol from oxidizing and causing atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. Organic pomegranate seeds act a lot like aspirin, keeping blood platelets from sticking together and forming dangerous blood clots. Antioxidants also buffer the effects of free radical damage to your cells caused by oxidation. Free radicals are produced by functions within the body and elements outside the body, such as radiation from the sun. Since you can't stop free radical occurrence and oxidation, it's important to consume foods that help neutralize their potential damage.
The high fiber content, those brilliant anti oxidants and the ability to dissolve the Ôbad cholesterol' make the Blue berry an ideal dietary supplement to help with heart health. It also strengthens the cardiac muscles. Blue berries, being very rich in anti oxidants like Anthocyanin, vitamin C, B complex, vitamin E, vitamin A, copper (a very effective immune builder and anti-bacterial), selenium, zinc, iron (promotes immunity by raising haemoglobin and oxygen concentration in blood) etc. boost up your immune system and prevent infections. Once your immunity is strong, you won't catch colds, fever, pox and all such nasty viral and bacterial communicable diseases. They keep you fresh, active, fit, sharp, close to nature and in a good mood, as they are very good anti- depressants. You also need not spend a lot on medicines, neither are there any side effects.
Organic Kosher Purple Grape
Grapes rank with blueberries and blackberries as excellent sources of antioxidants. Many of the health benefits attributed to red/purple grapes are due to the pigments that are concentrated largely in the skin and seeds, which have about 100 times higher level than the pulp of the grape. Grapes and grape juice function in different ways in the cardiovascular system. The pigments in red, purple and black grapes protect the cardiovascular system by a number of mechanisms that include the suppression of blood clots, inhibition of LDL cholesterol oxidation, reduced homocysteine levels, and anti-atherosclerotic properties. Grapes stimulate endothelial nitric oxide production which induces relaxation of the blood vessel walls, and a reduction in blood pressure levels.
Organic Tart Cherry
Most of the scientific research has centered on the health benefits of tart cherries. Sweet and tart cherries contain pigments called anthocyanins, antioxidants that give cherries their dark red color. Tart cherries are among the top fruits as far as antioxidant levels go. Tart cherry juice and dried tart cherries are even higher in antioxidants than blueberries and more powerful than Vitamin E. Anthocyanins have powerful anti-inflammatory properties, and according to the American Chemical Society, eating 20 tart cherries (or drinking the equivalent in juice concentrate) a day could provide the same pain relief that aspirin or ibuprofen do. Researchers in Texas recently discovered that tart cherries contain high levels of melatonin, an antioxidant produced naturally by the body that is thought to help slow the aging process as well as fight jetlag and regulate sleep. Eating tart cherries, particularly Montmorency tart cherries, can actually increase the levels of melatonin in the body.
Elderberry is used for its antioxidant activity, to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improves heart health and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsilitis. Bioflavonoids and other proteins in the juice destroy the ability of cold and flu viruses to infect a cell. Elderberries contain organic pigments, tannin, amino acids, carotenoids, flavonoids, sugar, rutin, viburnic acid, vitaman A and B and a large amount of vitamin C. They are also mildly laxative, a diuretic, and diaphoretic. Flavonoids, including quercetin, are believed to account for the therapeutic actions of the elderberry flowers and berries.
While familiar nutrients like vitamin C and fiber play a very important role in cranberry's health benefits, it's the amazing array of phytonutrients in cranberries. Cranberry has been used to help prevent and treat urinary tract infections (UTIs). The PACs in cranberry have a special structure (called A-type linkages) that makes it more difficult for certain types of bacteria to latch on to our urinary tract linings. Include in these types of bacteria are pathogenic (infection-causing) strains of E. coli -ta one of the most common microorganisms involved in UTIs. By making it more difficult for unwanted bacteria like E. coli to cling onto the urinary tract linings, cranberry's PACs help prevent the expansion of bacterial populations that can result in outright infection.
Organic Red Raspberry
As an antioxidant food containing ellagic acid, raspberries help prevent unwanted damage to cell membranes and other structures in the body by neutralizing free radicals. Ellagic acid is not the only well-researched phytonutrient component of raspberry, however. Raspberry's flavonoid content is also well documented. Here the key substances are quercetin, kaempferol, and the cyanidin-based molecules called cyanidin-3-glucosylrutinoside and cyanidin-3-rutinoside. These flavonoid molecules are also classified as anthocyanins, and they belong to the group of substances that give raspberries their rich red color. Raspberries' anthocyanins also give these delectable berries unique antioxidant properties, as well as some antimicrobial ones, including the ability to prevent overgrowth of certain bacteria and fungi in the body.
Organic Black Raspberry
Black Raspberry is scientifically known as Rubus Occidentalis. It is known as "King of Berries" or "Black Caps". They contain anthocyanins, ellagic acid and antioxidants. So, they are very useful for the treatment of tumors as an anti tumor agent. Black Raspberry is also good for many other therapeutic uses. It has been proved that the extracts of black raspberry reduce the growth of colon and esophageal cancers as well as breast and cervical cancers. The "anthocyanins" found in the black raspberry contains vaso-protective and anti-inflammatory properties. As the black raspberry contains high antioxidants, it is very good for the cancer, stroke, heart disease and may also for Alzheimer's disease. Black Raspberry is also good for the diabetic patients as it contains vitamin C.

Enzymes are essential for health and digestion. They are tiny proteins that help remove old toxic matter, including mucus, and assist nutrient absorption of all foods. However, our enzyme supply diminishes with age. BoKU can help supplement enzyme loss.
Himalayan Pink Crystal Salt
Most people are not aware of the vast differences between standard, refined salt and natural healthy salt. Sodium Chloride (standard table salt) is toxic to the body, is completely void of any vital trace minerals and can cause high blood pressure. Table salt is so refined it no longer has anything in common with crystal salt. Natural salt, in conjunction with water, is actually essential for the regulation of blood pressure. The natural crystal salt from the Himalayas does not burden your body as other salts do. The many benefits of Himalayan crystal salt include regulating the water content throughout your body, promoting a healthy pH balance in your cells; particularly your brain cells, promotes healthy balanced blood sugar, assists in the generation of hydroelectric energy in cells in your body, aids absorption of food particles through your intestinal tract, supports respiratory health, promotes sinus health, prevents muscle cramps, promotes bone strength, naturally regulates sleep, helps reduce the signs of aging, supports libido function, promotes vascular health, prevents gout and gouty arthritis, prevents varicose veins and spider veins on the legs and thighs. Natural salt is vital to the nerve cells' communication and information processing all the time that the brain cells work, from the moment of conception to death.

BoKu Whole Super-food has given me an incredible amount of increased energy noticeable within the first week of trying this highly nutritious product.
I’m usually down a bit in blood iron and this super-food seems to nicely regulate it for me. I’m hypo-glycemic low blood sugar and should eat every couple of hours, though it isn’t always possible and not always do I feel like eating that often. When I start to feel a bit shaky the first sign and start noticing a bit of brain fog, I mix BoKu Whole Super-food with an 8 ounce glass of pure not from concentrate orange juice. This whole super-food and the goodness of fresh orange juice is an amazing, energetic pick-me-up and keeps me nourished up until my next meal.
Try mixing BoKu Super-Protein Gluten-free and BoKu Whole Super-food with a raw egg, banana, fresh/frozen berries, and your favourite pure fruit juice or pure water for a wonderful protein breakfast/anytime shake.
